Our recommended Brampton and GTA real estate pros
When you buy or sell a home in Brampton or the GTA, you need more than a realtor. You need a mortgage broker who returns texts, a lawyer who explains the paperwork in plain English, an inspector who isn't afraid to flag the basement issues, and a stager who knows what actually moves price in your neighbourhood. Below are the vendors we personally refer clients to, in the order most clients need them.
Mortgage brokers
Before you start looking at Brampton homes, you need a pre-approval. The brokers below serve Brampton, Mississauga, Toronto, and Etobicoke. They return texts within a few hours, they don't disappear after closing, and they're straight with the client.

Are you a Brampton-area vendor who wants to be listed here?
We are building this page out with one or two vetted partners per category. If you serve Brampton buyers and sellers and want to be considered, send a note to mats@matsmoy.com. We will review your work, references, and how you handle a few sample scenarios. The bar is high but the referrals are real.
How we pick the pros on this page
There are three criteria. First, they have to do good work: not just show up, but actually solve the problem. We check references and we check track record. Second, they have to communicate. Slow responses, ghosting after closing, or vague answers when something goes wrong are deal breakers. Third, they have to be honest. If a contractor tells our client a 3-day job will take 3 weeks, we want them to say so up front, not surprise everyone in week two.
We are not running a marketplace here, and we are not getting paid for these listings. The vendors on this page are people we would send our own families to. If a vendor's quality drops, they come off the page. That is the deal.
If you have worked with one of these pros and the experience did not match what we told you to expect, email us directly and tell us about it. We will look into it.
